Welcome, I am Sally-Anne also known as 'The Dorset Sewing Moose'   An Artisan fabric crafter living and working in Dorset England. 

I have from a young age had a love of crafting, using many items that normally would just be discarded as too small to be saved.  At an early age I was often found making Christmas decorations out of scraps, which still adorn the family tree some 40 years later.  More recently my love for all things salvaged and stitchable has come about whilst renovating our Dorset cottage, where I have been able to work with some amazing fabrics, but has also left me with small remnants.  This is where my crafting imagination takes me to create, ornaments and everyday practical items for the home and lovely unique gifts.

Where possible my work is made from remnants from clothing and upholstery businesses, where the products I am able to source have become of no use to them.  This is where I like to think I am saving  the fabric from going to landfill, and have the ability to create bespoke items, many are one of a kind, so don't take time to think,  as it may not be there next time in the fabric you like.

I love working with luxurious fabrics and 'found' materials to create unique gifts and home accessories. I create seasonal ornaments and gifts and am always happy to discuss a bespoke order.
